The social commitment of Grupo C&H is based on our business strategy with a socially responsible approach, reflected in all the company’s activities considering the main public with which it participates: Employees, customers, suppliers, society, and the environment, basing our Efforts in the Principles proposed by the Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals.

ESR® AWARD 2016

As a result of its public and voluntary commitment to implement socially responsible management. The Mexican Center for Philanthropy A.C recognizes GRUPO C&H awarding it the ESR® Award 2016

The ESR® Award recognizes the company to its stakeholders, who voluntarily and publicly assume the commitment to implement and continuously improve a socially responsible management, as part of their culture and business strategy.

This commitment is reflected in its policies, strategies, and programs, fully encompassing all areas and levels of action of the company.

POLICY OF CARE TO THE ENVIRONMENT

All the collaborators that integrate Grupo C&H contribute to reducing the environmental impact through the following commitments:

  • Implement eco-efficiency measures in administrative processes

LEED CERTIFICATE

Our corporate, has the LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environment Design) Certificate granted by the US Green Building Council.

This certification accredits the incorporation of sustainable strategies during the construction process, among which are the saving of resources, use of alternative energy, innovation in design and quality in the interior environment. Currently there are only 15 buildings with LEED certification and 134 in the process of certification in Mexico.

In addition to generating energy and natural resources savings, the facilities have adequate lighting, acoustics and distribution that facilitate interaction and communication between C&H personnel. In this way, our environment is pleasant and productive.

WE ARE PART OF THE UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL PACT

In September 2015, Grupo C & H voluntarily adhered to the United Nations Global Pact, an initiative that promotes implementation within the company 10 Principles universally accepted to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the areas of Human Rights, Labor Standards, Environment, and Anti-Corruption.

TRANSPARENCY AND ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY

Our policy states that Grupo C & H will not tolerate corrupt practices at any degree or level. It also highlights the commitment of our company to submit information and record its transactions accurately.

Guidance is included on how to achieve proper compliance with this policy for all C & H members.

C&H FOUNDATION

Grupo C & H, created the C & H Foundation with the aim of promoting, through its lines of action, the improvement in people’s quality of life and fostering the development of shared value actions between companies and their various stakeholders.
